In the Earth Under the Forest

It's time for you to meet your boyfriends parents.

They live in 'the Forest'. A place very unlike your usual wooded area, with what outsiders would call, Monsters and Magic. You can't wait to visit your boyfriend, Min's, childhood home, a home you've become quite enchanted with from the stories he tells you. Will meeting his parents go well despite their apprehension about outsiders?  Will Min's home be as much of a haven as you hope? And what will happen when something is wrong with the Forest?

This 15,000+ word game is fully playable through the browser on pc and mobile so there is no need to download any files. Some assets can take a hot second to load but that's about all. Make sure to rate the game once you've played, it lets me know what you think!

In the Earth Under the Forest was created for the May Wolf 2025 Game Jam.

Fair warning: the Mac version has not been tested but has no reason to not work..? This is my second ever furry visual novel or VN in general, so thank you for playing. I think I've made some good improvements, maybe you're even returning after my previous jam submission. Review it, tell me what I did wrong and what I did right or could have been better, etc.
